The Haggarty family vision is for optimal food, fibre and beverage production with exceptional human, ecological and planetary outcomes through innovative integration of nature's intuitive wisdom, research, and development of Natural Intelligence Farming practices.
Dianne and Ian's regenerative approach is based on five key principles: love, respect, gratitude, reciprocity and humility. They have successfully transformed thousands of hectares of degraded land using a combination of management techniques that work with Nature, including applying worm and compost liquids and using rotational grazing. These activities are restoring water cycles, increasing soil infiltration, building soil organic carbon, and restoring micro and macro fauna, whilst producing healthy food for humans.
Natural Intelligence Farming harnesses the dynamic, natural relationships that exist between all organisms in ecosystems, particularly the soil. These relationships are highly complex and versatile. They involve mutually beneficial interactions between soil, plant seed and roots, microorganisms, and the ruminants that feed on the plants, cycling nutrients and microbes back to the soil. The key to Natural Intelligence Farming is that land stewards support, respect and appreciate these interactions and the powerful outcomes they create.
