A three-stage production process
1. Measure
We measure and verify the ecological improvement work done by land managers and award them a point score.
2. Package
We certify the score and package each point and supporting provenance data into a digital token called a Bright Green.
3. Sell
We sell Bright Greens in digital markets, as corporate ESG assets, and as proof of regenerative provenance of raw materials.

A digital ecological token is a way that verified, certified ecological improvement can be packaged and sold in the financial markets, just like other commodities that are grown on a farm. Obviously we can't sell the soil, air and water because they need to stay in place. A Bright Green is a Semi-Fungible-Token, or SFT. It combines an ERC1155 (and NFT containing the proof of ecological improvement on a specific farm) with an ERC20, which is a fungible token. Gild Lab have developed the platform for minting and managing SFTs. N.B. This is not the same as the SFTs in gaming that you might read about online.
