What are Bright Greens?

What is the blockchain?
Blockchain is a shared, immutable ledger that facilitates the process of recording transactions and tracking assets in a business network. An asset can be tangible (a house, car, cash, land) or intangible (intellectual property, patents, copyrights, branding). Virtually anything of value can be tracked and traded on a blockchain network, reducing risk and cutting costs for all involved.

What is a Bright Green?
A Bright Green is a token that represents ecological improvement that has been grown by producers (farmers and land managers).

It is a built on the Ethereum blockchain. It combines two types of token. The PIE (Producer Investment Evaluation) Certificate, which proves the work has been done, is held on a non fungble token called ERC1155. The financial value is hold on a fungible token called ERC20. These two tokens are tied together so every Bright Green contains a certificate and specific data proving the genuine ecological improvement that created its value.

Bright Greens are stored in crypto wallets (Ethereum wallets). They can be bought and sold from a wallet.
